SA introduction and pics

Alright guys it's about time I formally introduce my SA and give some details about it. I traded my 89 GXL for it. It came with a GSL rear end, Kamei air dam, RB muffler(not the one in the pictures), spare front bumper with rubber sides, and all the side trim. The car as far as I know has 69K original miles on the original 12A. It has the FB electronic distributor as well as the coils I believe are wired in parallel as far as I can tell. It also has FC spark plugs but I’ve never looked for myself to find out. It has the RB air box RB Road Race header collected and straight piped back to an RB muffler. I switched out the waffles for the + wheels off my FB because the tires were dry rotted and they vibrated really bad. It's an S so there isn't really any bells and whistles with it other then the AC that is converted to R134A and blows cold. Being an S also means that it is indeed a 4 Speed manual. I think I've only ever seen a handful of 4 Speed SA's ever so I'm thankful to own such a rare example. Alright enough blabbering from me. Enjoy the pictures

Yeah she needs some body work and a good paint job but man does it run like a bat out of hell LOL. I don't know a whole lot of details on the coil set up unfortunately but it seems to work really well so

Car looks great; however, (correct me if I'm wrong) the odometer looks like its been tampered with, or its roled over.

The Kamei is in my basement right now, it was in the hatch when I got it. As far as I know it's all original. I'm the 4th owner IIRC. Previous 2 owners only put 2k miles on it between the both of them

does the kamei look like this in the pic? (not my car), I found one like this used but great shape this winter and am having it painted to stock colour of the '79 to install in the spring

I also think it's not advisable to run FC plugs w/ the FB ignition.

Pull those plugs out ASAP and put in the right part either NGK or ND's. Wrong plugs will trash your engine.

That yellow is so cool. It's a nice car.

The FC plugs wont trash the engine, trust me. I'll try running the stock plugs when it's time to change them to see if there's any difference in them. So far the car runs fantastic so we'll see
