Any pics or video of the first gen plant in Japan? Or any other like picture of tons of new 1st gen's being shipped in / out from back in the day?

 

Pics of a plant in Hiroshima. I wonder if pictures, or video`s could last in all of that radiation? It would be very cool to see tho.

 

The original Toyo Kogyo factory in Japan survived the A-bomb. I read that it sat behind a mountain and so was shielded from the nuclear blast. After the bomb it was used as a makeshift hospital for all of the injured Japanese citizens...

 

And Mitsubishi factories were American POW camps. Damn Mitsubishi!

 

There's a pic (or two) in Brian Long's RX-7 book, one being christened the 1 millionth rotary engine on the assembly line.

Very cool!! Those SA's look like they have tons of wheel gap tho. I guess that's the way they are suppose to look.

Call me crazy but wouldn't the last Rx-7 be the one in the back of the picture that we can't see? There are still two more in line when they took this picture!
