Royal Purple!!!
Hey guys just wanted to let you all know... I work for Autozone and Just recently the price of royal purple went down to $3.99 a quart... those of you who use it know its normally $8.00. I think its a mistake and they will probably fix it really soon... so go and get as much as you can! I nabbed a few cases....(not for my rx7 tho)
Yeah buying stuff like that that is priced wrong as an employee can actually get you fired. Just like when things are discontinued and marked down to a penny, you can get fired for buying that stuff at a penny because it is supposed to be disposed of. I work at AutoZone too
(hiissss aws140 hiisssss LOL)

Go on your website and enter your Zip for your location and see if the product shows up at that price online.

Well normally when something is screwed up in terms of pricing.... the district manager will go crazy calling all of the stores making sure they removed the item off the shelf... i never got that call... I know about the 99 cent items... thats a big no no
but hey I thought i might as well give all of you a heads up on the deal

First thing I did after reading your initial post was search the Autozone online store. I too received a "Royal Purple was not found."
Since I have to pick-up some needed supplies from Autozone anyway it won't be an extra trip in the morning.
Thanks again Beav.

By the way....Royal Purple is one of only 2 synthetics that is ok to use in your wankel! The guy who invented it is a Rotor Head. It actually burns just as clean as regular dino oil. Just costs more though...
I have used it for the past few years in my tranny and diff......but have not tried it in any of my engines because I change the oil too often to spend that much $$.
