Rolls Royce made a Rotary

Direct injection, twin rotor, low pressure and high pressure rotor, etc.

rolls royce made a DIESEL rotary... you gotta mention that, that's the key part in how neat it is

The big rotor did nothing but build compression for the small one to ignite the diesel fuel.

It was Britain in 1970. They love doing **** like this, now its all communications and property.

But what a great idea! Why not 3 stages to get the compression right up! Would love to see Mazda give it a go, but I guess modern turbos do the same job and are lighter so there's no point. The market for diesel rotaries would be fairly tight.

That is amazing, awesome idea.

I want a diesel rotary so badly. The idea of a diesel rotary drives me nuts.
