rocker finisher

I have been looking for pics of these rocker finishers, black aluminum with a brushed fin type finish. riveted to the lower rocker.. My car has them. Are they a fact Mazda accessory? they seem rare...

I can say with certainty that they were not in the 1984 Mazda Accessory brochure because I just looked at mine. I would be surprised if they were an '85 accessory either.

You see these on early Z's also. I believe they were a dealer installed option.

My brother had them on his 84 too when he originally bought it. The only ones I've ever seen.
