NY Repainting - Interior Color Question

I have a 1985 GSL that was repainted years ago. The car was painted a brown color (not sure if even a RX 7 color) and when I look at the paint indicator inside the hood it shows V9 - Custom Silver Metalic. My question is about the interior. the car has brown/red interior. I've tried to find a resource that shows exterior and interior color combos but cant. I don't THINK the interior was redone. Seems an odd combo Silver exterior and brown and red interior.

Does anyone know of a resource where I could verify ?

Is it a leather interior? Leather only came in red or brown. Most silver cars had the red interior (cloth or leather). Most likely your interior is red with areas that have sun faded to brown. This is common on upper door panels, horn buttons, shift *****, shift boots and other plastic interior parts.

The red (burgundy) turning the brownish color can easily be fixed with the SEM interior paint. We have talked about it and have photos in the What did I do to my FB thread. I recently painted my horn button and posted a photo there.

OK...YES...it is Red interior that has faded to brown. I bet that is it. Its in good condition for 1985. I thought red and brown was strange combo. Thanks Guys. I'll have to look into the paint mentioned to bring the interior back to red

How did the paint hold up on the shift handle?

So far no problem. But it's not a daily driver. I'll be lucky to put 1000 miles on it this year.
