it's nice to look at. overall i do think it's beautiful. i like the hood, the rear spoiler and the paint. i would do those to my own car, but i'm not a huge fan of the fenders (or mirrors) either. like you, i do enjoy the simplicity of it though.

also, whenever i put my old school 13B together, i'm doing my pulleys like he did.

turns out i was wrong, they are copies of the 253i aero mirror, the 254 style is similar but longer

254 is like this:

Does anyone know where to source that louvered hood? Its pretty much the final piece of the puzzle for my dream FB build but having no luck tracking one down.

Thanks,
Alex

you might call a hot rod shop. my friend made some calls and the louver thing is just a die. we couldn't find anyone local with one that long, but the shorter ones are cheap

I've been down that road... Those louvers are too big to be cut with a die, and I seem to recall a picture showing the inside of the hood (it is fiberglass).

I figure it is a longshot but if anyone sees one of these pop up, I need to know! Not too scared of the cost..

Oooh, I had just looked at those but felt they looked smaller.

Just found the specs on RHDJapan and they may be close or the same. Not too pricey either, thanks!

Edit: Ordered, will provide a review once they arrive!
