Racing beat modified carbs

Hello community I am Eric Hayes I've been on here for a while and have used the forums to get my barn find fb on the road again. I recently started found a 465 holley set up cheap online and in searching for it I had to learn how to tell if it was modified by racing beat or not for our cars, thanks to the YouTube channel rad potential. Eric over on YouTube is a great source for repair modifications and need to know info on your car. Anyways I learned about how they drill out the choke circuit and add a bracket to the throttle and also plug some venturey holes in the metering block and I said I could've done that myself. I work at a micro welding shop where we do tig and Lazer welding and I could easily accomplish these things and would love to do it to help the community. I know how those carbs modified are pricey hard to find and back ordered from racing beat. So if anyone would like to have their carb modified to mimic racing beat I would love to do it for a very reasonable price you just send your carb ill then make the modifications and return to you I would also rebuild it if you send a kit with it since I have to pull the bowls off and stuff. So anyone interstate pleaseeee let me know and we'll figure something out.

what I'm trying to say is that for those of you with holleys that aren't modified from beat racing, you could send them to me and I could copy what they do for a very affordable price. I'm trying to help the budget builders like me and its really a passion project for me if people wanted to do it. It would be a cool way to work with the rotary community and maybe the start of a business for me. I also just want to say I feel I'm very capable of achieving what they do because of working for a micro welder. And the carb knowledge me and my peers have, I also have a beat racing modified carb to base my work off of. I hope this makes more sense.

For a regular holley to work on a racing beat intake just add a plenum spacer under the carb. Or port the intake to have a plenum. No need for special RB holley

I'm speaking about the internal mods racing beat does, I understand you don't need mods to put on on your car. They actually plug shut holes in the emulsion circuit and other point in the metering block. They also drill out the choke circuit. This makes the carb perform better on a rev happy rotary.

Eric - great service to offer. I think there is a bit of back-and-forth with the Moderators (me being one) about posting what is basically a Service (ie financial exchange for services rendered) on the General Discussions Forum. This sort of Thread is generally posted elsewhere, perhaps HERE:

Its good that you ate offering services to the community, but as Stu mentioned, the general discussion section may not be the best place. This could be great for the guys that run a Holley carb honestly. Not a ton of people know how to modify them for the RX-7 and we are glad to have you aboard and the knowledge you bring to the table!
