Hello all! Some of you know my absolute obsession with the RX7's involvement in IMSA racing and my unabashed worshipping of the Racing Beat built and run 83 Daytona GTO class winner. My constant search for new pics and info on the internet now has me wondering: what's become of that car? Mazda is a awesome company that maintains and runs their vintage and historic race car fleet several times a year so we as a community are blessed with being able to see significant Mazdas pretty often, but the RBGTO not being a factory effort appears to not be owned by them so I'm curious if anyone knows...

What happened to the RBGTO race car and where is it?

In a similar vein, it seems that the RX7, particularly the 1st gens, were quite popular and prevalent in IMSA in period and many were raced. I don't seem to see many of those at historic events either. Does anyone own one or know where one may be? I'm hoping one day to be able to closely examine one as I build my IMSA recreation.
