Quick Question about a FB purchase...
So I came across a 84 GSL-SE with 5,000 original miles from a collectors climate controlled garage.
ballpark what is this thing worth? sorry I don't have pics -but I'm told it's in showroom condition...
literally that is all the details I have.

I believe a 79 with 6300 miles just sold on ebay for like $6000. At least that a similar type mileage. I suppose this car would be worth more cause its a gslse.
Its worth whatever people are willing to pay for it so I'd look at ebay for gsl-se's for comparison. My guess... Maybe $8000.

At the end of the day it's still a 25 year old Mazda filled with 25 year old parts. Id' say no more than $7-8k. And that is absolute TOPS! I wouldn't pay more than $5k for it personally.

Price is relative, it comes down to what your plans for the car are. If you plan on showing it as a collector car in a museum and it's pristine, it's probably worth the asking price. If you're looking for a daily driver or a rotary to take to shows/meets, it may be in too good of condition to be putting out on the street and still preserve it. In either case, something with that low of mileage and the effort that's already been put into it's preservation should be kept as such.
Does the car come with the correct proveance? I suggest you contact RotaryDave here on the forum, he may be able to guide you through the process.

I'm getting this for VERY cheap so it's a no brainer... just wanted to get a sense of the market.
