pressure test blowing a coolant seal ?

pressure test blowing a coolant seal ?

crazy question ....... would it be possible to blow an internal coolant seal / o-ring as a result of a mechanic do a cooling system pressure test ?

If you are blowing coolant out the exhaust, then here's a thread on how I dealt with a very serious version of this problem. The product is called Alumaseal, has been used by a couple dozen forum members now, with great success.

cooling issue was with a friends car . He has found a wierd hose leak that was responsible for worries about a coolant seal going . the problem started by coincidence after a cooling pressure test.
