cars 30 this month, or is it 29, any ways im 16 and my 79 was built april of 78 so i think its 30.

Hiroshima date of completion of my Leather Sport model was May 1980. Let's see? That puts me on the earth around 6027 days ahead of my Rx-7.

Or if you want to get technical, I am:
520,646,400 seconds older than my Rx-7
8,677,440 minutes older than my Rx-7
144,624 hours older than my Rx-7
860 weeks (rounded down) older than my Rx-7

The first gen is where its at. My '84 is seven years and two months older than me (9/83 build date). And my '83 was seven years and eleven months older than me (1/83 build date).

What's awesome about the first gen is just this.

It gets respect from the older generations as well as the younger.

While the younger (which I am in) generation always say "Oh, but its not a third generation?" they still think its pretty cool.

I love the first generation. What a great body style.
