cars 30 this month, or is it 29, any ways im 16 and my 79 was built april of 78 so i think its 30.

My '84 is seven years and two months older than me (9/83 build date). And my '83 was seven years and eleven months older than me (1/83 build date).

What's awesome about the first gen is just this.

It gets respect from the older generations as well as the younger.

While the younger (which I am in) generation always say "Oh, but its not a third generation?" they still think its pretty cool.

I love the first generation. What a great body style.
