The car is a LOT of fun! More fun than I should be allowed to have! The car is very fast, has a deep rumble (thanks to the Cartech quad resonators) and handles on rails. I do miss power steering when parking the car into my garage (narrow driveway, and a tight angle).

I've been doing little items to the car... general interior cleanup, replacing a bin and door cups, new shift ****, some new carpet, removing the hard-wired radar detector... stuff like that.

The person who bought my prior SE decided that he didn't want the meshies, so I bought them back! You can see the meshies in the first post in this thread on the silver car. They will probably go on this new car on Saturday.

In the meantime, I took some pics one day in town. See below! I hope one of them hits the 2011 calendar.

Here's photos of my new Turbo SE:

PJR -

Please repeat the next sentences very slowly to yourself out loud. Keep a good cadence and try to look straight into your headlights as much as possible. I paid a hypnotist good money to produce this for me:

"I DO NOT LIKE MY KICK-*** TURBO SE ANY LONGER. I MUST SELL IT TO MICKSTER RIGHT AWAY. I MUST PM MICKSTER WITH THE OFFER"

"I DO NOT LIKE MY KICK-*** TURBO SE ANY LONGER. I MUST SELL IT TO MICKSTER RIGHT AWAY. I MUST PM MICKSTER WITH THE OFFER"

"I DO NOT LIKE MY KICK-*** TURBO SE ANY LONGER. I MUST SELL IT TO MICKSTER RIGHT AWAY. I MUST PM MICKSTER WITH THE OFFER"

LOL! Mickster, I'll practice those chants.

Alex, you are right... It was like -- aha! Now it's a real sports car! Wow, what a difference.

It'll look great with the mesh wheels! Show us photos when you have them on.

The torque of the turbo thrust is really addictive. You should do a small write up of your overall impressions of this car compared to your previous SE.

Looks very close Alex! My mesh wheels have a different pattern, but very close. Are those 15" too?

The fun with this car is the instant RUSH you get at 2800 rpm when you hit the petal about 2/3 down. Noblag no lurching, no drama, just loud turbo whine and instant acceleration.

I'm still trying to get a feel for the handling, especially since I've just switched wheels and tires. But damn the suspension upgrades really do keep this thing flat, more of an improvement than i would have thought possible.

Yep, those are 15's. BTW, I know they aren't the same rims at all,
but that picture you posted reminded me of my old rims.

In the two pics, - Considereing they were both Gray, Turbocharged, and both GSL-SE's while both sporting meshies - it was alot of familiarity to go un-noticed.

Seems to be a something I've been repeating, but the only thing I would change is to get it a bit lower. Otherwise that is awesome.

Well, I've had the meshies on for about 3 weeks, and --- oh man, I may be losing it -- but I think I kinda like the Enkei wheels a bit more. I think I'll put them back on and probably sell the mesh wheels and the tires too.

I think I may be in agreement.
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the original wheels the
car came with either.

I like the old meshies, but I think they don't go with this car as well
as they did on the silver car.

Perhaps if you painted the centers (mesh) to match the car, and
polished the lips?

Or...

Maybe its' time for a whole new set of Rims?

Panasport/Ronals?
Rota's?
Some staggered BBS RS perhaps? (What I think want)
HRE's (Expensive)
Whatever these are

The right thread to get ideas.
