I found this online and wanted to know if anybody had one of these? I would like to get one or two. maybe make a two rotor or 4 rotor rc car, haha.

They're pretty sought-after collectibles these days. Not cheap.

Not so much. They're still in production, but they're just really expensive. They seem to be of little value to most model airplane enthusiasts due to the fact that they're tiny and expensive. If it were a .50, .90, or 1.20 size and priced better people would be all over them, but there's no market for a heavy $450 .30 wankel when you can pick up a brand new .30 2 stroke for $80 that makes the same amount of power.

I do remember seeing something in a model airplane magazine about a guy who is going to start making his own gasoline powered wankel engines. I think they were somewhere around the 25cc range, and made good power. I can't remember the guys name, but they had a picture of the engine mounted in his biplane, and it looked perfect in a plane designed for a radial engine.

I didn't mean they were sought-after by airplane modelers.

Rotary engine fans seem to like 'em enough that even the old and beat ones still bring a good price. Every once in a while you can find a non-working one for south of $60 or so. For me, that's a pretty pricey paperweight.

I bought one a few months back.

I plan on putting it in a r/c model swamp buggy/airboat type thing, when I get some spare time to build myself one!

Cam...
