Are you sure that its coming from between the rotor housing and the rear iron, or could it be coming from the oil pan gasket at the joint of the rear iron and rotor housing??

for what it's worth, I chased an oil pan leak through several gasket replacements and finally found that the real problem was the lack of effective "crankcase ventilation". Since there was no ventilation air pressure was building in the pan and forcing the oil out, first one place, then after the new gasket, somewhere new. Just about drove me nuts, till I figured it out.

ok. I will try. no the engine was not rebuilt. I just pulled it out of winter storage for the snow months. its been sitting in my garage for about 3mths. I wondering if some of the seals got dry and cracked. Ive had the car for 18yrs and stored it every winter, but this is the first time ive had an oil issue with it.
I will try and tourque the bolts. But without taking out the engine pretty much the only seal i can do is the rear main seal??

here is a pic from under the manifold. you can see all the oil up and around the bolts. in the other pic. There is now a nice steady stream coming from where the starter is. dripping from the bottom starter bolt and coming from the inspection hole. I cleaned these areas up good before. Never leaked that bad. but I never let the car run for an hour before either. So it looks like the longer it runs the worse its getting. please advise. Thanks.

To access the rear main seal, I believe the only thing you need to remove is the transmission.

That might be where a source of oil leak is coming from but from the pictures, it still looks like the majority of the oil is leaking around the oil pan. Those small bolts do not require much torque when putting back the pan. That was where one of my oil leaks was coming from and causing smoke blowout when accelerating away from a stop. haha good times... gettin dirty!
