rotarynews.com featured that watch on Facebook recently. I'm trying to find it currently. IIRC: $35k USD deposit. Final cost: ~$110k USD

 

Which probably means they haven't made one yet... but will, once someone decides to finance the production line and the designer's Ferrari by buying one.

 

while the concept is cool, to me it just looks like there's waayyy too much happening there. i like to be able to look at my watch and actually know what time it is :P

Have to say it would take a watchmaker to make something as so elegantly simple as a rotary engine and make it so dazzlingly complex. And: r-e-a-l-l-y have to look hard to figure out what the time _is_.
Performance art indeed.
