Need a Front Licence Plate Bracket 1984 GS

Ok, I have been looking alot of places, and I can't seem to find one.

So, I was wondering what some people have done to make one. I would prefer to use the mounting holes under the bumper and not drill into it.

So, if any of you have located any. Or have adapted another car's to work. I would love to hear any suggestions.

I will also be posting a WTB in the classifides section of the Midwest Forums.

I'm really tired of police harrassment. Putting it in the window just causes them to pull me over.

You can zip tie it in the front without any trouble.

PM'ed I like your idea to zip tie. That will work for awhile. If all else fails I I have a Solid Model design on my desktop I can send down to the shop and powdercoat line. The problem is waiting for some downtime (none in sight).

So zap tie it to the grill and look for a bracket off some other Mazda at the yard. This isn't rocket appliances.

Got into the Zone

OH BTW, the officer didn't like the zip tie to the grill. It was considered, "under the car." I got a lecture about how a fella with a truck/jeep lift decided to mount his licence place on the skid plate that was between the front diff and the bumper because the winch was partially in the location intended for the plate. That didn't fly so my temporary fix didn't either. Besides, half the cops are in some kind of 4x4Truck or SUV. He probably didn't even see it at first.

Anyway, I found this http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...ntifier=761575 and it works real well with the holes under the bumper. Note: the plate is below bumper level and if you want to make it the same level you will have to locate some skrews and washers to "space" it forward a small amount. And, Stainless Steel is prefered.

I know I checked ebay before I wish I had seen that before anyway ty all.
