My Valentines day adventure (not what youd think)
Thought id share, car related and largely funny.
So went over to a friends house to much about on dirtbikes in the snow for the day. His parents asked if i could drive their daughter to a town nearby and said sure. They even let me take their range rover.
So on the way back going up there drive which is a 2 mile hill around a corner (and we just recently had alot of snow fall) managed to drop a wheel into the super deep snow and just got sucked into the ditch. I
I managed to keep half the car on the road for about 200 yards just slowly trying to creep back onto the road(when all this happened i was only going about 40kmh)
Got to a certain point on the road that i just got stuck and slid about 3 feet straight sideways into the ditch.
tried for a bit to get it unstuck, but to no avail.
Ran to the house and got my friend and his truck to try and pull me out. We figured the easiest way was to pull it backwards the way I went in. Pulled For the 200m, slowly getting further out and then the front slid into the ditch and got stuck on a fallen tree. Broke off a panel near the front wheel and bent the running board (on a 100k$ vehicle)
The angle was such that the coolant resevoir was overflowing and spewing coolant everywhere so we had to shut everything off (even tho it wasnt overheating yet).
We then decided to try and saw the tree off and try and pull it out. Got the chainsaw stuck in the tree. Wat a bitch.
The owner decided to come and see what was taking us so long and wasnt impressed. Went and got his backhoe and pulled the nose straight sideways out of the ditch. YAY john deere.
In total this took about hour and a half cuz of the tree and chain saw and everything. In about -10 weather when outside in a sweater for that long is a decent amount of time in the cold.
What a gone show, **** hersey and halmark and their stupid ****** day lol
