My secondaries have barely been opening...

for almost two months now. Hows that for a bad mechanic? When I took my holley setup off and when back to the nikki I didn't notice that the little spring loaded thingy on the back side of the carb near the linkages came off its teeter. It would prevent the throttle from opening all the way, and the primaries would open ~90% and the secondaries ~10%. I didn't really notice because I was expecting a loss in power, and I had forgotten what the carb was supposed to feel like.

The better part of the story is that I went to two autocross events like this. I thought the car felt a little down on power, but I guess considering I could only get half throttle I didn't do too badly. Shows that its mainly handling/driver anyways. Speaking of that, I thought I'd show a little picture from sunday's autocross. I got a litte squirly at about 60mph, and the picture speaks for itself.

I wouldn't consider 8" hooisers 'skinny'. I guess they just left a skinny marks for some reason.

40 in the front, 45 in the rear. At the last autocross my fronts were rolling over and hitting the tie rod (rubbing a nice deep groove on the inside sidewall as well) so I wanted to make sure they wouldn't roll over. I think this was a bit high so I'm going to back it down to ~38 front ~40 rear.

I used some 225/45/13 Hoosiers for a short time last year, bought them used and then ran them into the ground. I ran something like 38 front/35 rear. Hoosiers are a lot of fun.
