By time, it's due for a coolant exchange. It's on my list this summer. I was going to order all new clamps from the dealer. I know its going to be expensive, but it will be worth the investment. I will however look into the ones you are talking about on Ebay. If they are good quality and exact reproductions, then they are worth looking into!

Thank you very much!!! The original owner really loved the car and took great care of it. He even gave me all of the original parts that he replaced over the years. He saved everything other than the consumable like the tires, filters, battery, brakes etc.. Wish he had saved the original stereo. He looked and didn't find it but thinks he may still have it somewhere.

I remember being a kid when these cars were new and seeing them here and there. I remember how nice they looked going down the road. I've been in love with these cars for a long time and I'm definitely proud to have this car. It's something I'll teach my boys how to maintain and repair and hand down to them.

My son and I got the car out on Sunday and went for a cruise.i snapped a few pictures out in the light. It's a shame it wasn't very sunny. There was some overcast and I was hoping the paint would be brighter as this color really loves the sun. Either way, we had fun and I always enjoy driving this car!

Wasn't a fan of gold cars until i saw this one!

Any info on those mudflaps? Do you know if they're still available?

I will look in the paperwork I have for the car. The original owner saved every receipt from every part that he bought for the car. I should be able to at least find a company name and part number. Unfortunately many of the receipts have faded away to next to nothing so here's hoping that's not one of them.

Discovered last night that my clutch hydraulics are weak. The pedal is very dead feeling. No leaks were observed at either component and the fluid level is full. I have a new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and hose in stock for the car so that will be this weekend's quick project. Should get the car back in order. I think its sat too much this year. Was good to have it running for a little while last night. My youngest son seemed to really enjoy it!

I took the car for a drive last weekend. It's the first I've had it out this year. I haven't even washed it yet but I was so excited to drive it that I just went for the drive. I snapped a few pictures to share as well:

Beautiful "time-capsule" you have there Dave, my RX7 is a little more personalized but I think she still holds true to the original! Did my semi-annual detail on her back in May.

I think you have a beautiful GSL-SE! I think it still holds up to the original design. Your car is very tastefully modded and presents beautifully. Any person would be proud to own that car!
