Bitch in front of me on her cell phone almost missed her turn, slammed on the brakes at the last second (put her signal on too) and forced me into the back of her at 45 mph. I was around 100 feet from her when she slammed on it, couldnt stop as quickly as her '10 camry.

well the unibody is bent bad... 1/2 shorter on the passenger side than the drivers side. The structure for mounting everything got bent reallllly bad, even the radiator and swaybar arent straight in the bay now.

I just found out im being held responsible even though she admitted to be on her cell phone and "didnt even see me"...

Somebody just sell me a straight roller I can swap all my SE goodies in and get painted lol

shot of the rad+swaybar crooked

sort of crappy shot of the bent-ness

another crappy shot

shot of front end twist

you can see a little of the unibody bent here

more bent front end mounting areas

lil more

yet more bent metal

shot of pass. side swaybar area

somehow the bra wasnt damaged. Dont build 'em like they used to.

did you see that the entire front geometry is fudged? Its almost an inch shorter on one side...

I mean, replacing panels is one thing. But theres no way that I can see to "fix" that much twisted metal - short of cutting it all away and welding in new steel.

the car will need to be put on a frame machine and professionally straightened. its an easy fix after that. i've repaired worse and would not throw away a rust free shell.

Well I got a rust free 85 GSL shell from a member in southern Ohio, even has the maroon interior! It has a bent hood, and pass. side towhook, but its straight as an arrow everywhere else.

I just need to figure out how easily I could throw an FC subframe in there before I have it painted. That way itll be a nicer car than what I had when I started

And it was FREE!
