If you want a good and somewhat inexpensive external camera for autocross, I suggest a GoPro Hero. I've used it for a number of races and I see them on a lot of the other cars too. As long as your paint or glass is clean, the suction mount will not come loose no matter how many G's you pull. Mine even stayed on my bike when I crashed it up at the Dragon. They're awesome little cameras and the newer ones shoot in HD.
A better (the correct) way to handle inside tire spin on exit is by installing a really kickass front swaybar (Respeed). This helps prevent the rear from leaning enough to start lifting a tire.

I'm sure the fact that my diff is shot isn't helping either. Good idea though. One day I will have some decent suspension under this car.

Lone Star Park event 5

Went out to Lone Star Park for my second Auto-x, did a little better this time . Duffman came out and ran and kicked some *** tho, I think he came in 6th in novice class and I came in 10th, I think there were 12 in novice. I was happy I managaed to knock 2-3 seconds off each pass (5in all today), didnt have any DNF's and only hit one cone . Duffman probably would have done better then 6th but his OMP started leaking so sat out the last 3 runs , so still did kick *** with only 2 passes.

Heres a couple pics I took, still waiting on results to be posted up and pictures/video. It kicked *** having another 1st gen out there And was great meeting Duffman, really nice guy. And thanks again Duffman for bringing out those tail lights with you, really appreciate it.

Hey hey Randy, had a great time with you and your cousin. Hopefully next time I can get all my runs in, I've already ordered the block off plate. I don't remember where I placed either, lol. I'm interested to see what db the exhaust is, do you recall where they said they would be posted? Looking forward to those pics too.

Don forge about the meet this weekend too.

Hey hey AJ, you should be able to find it on texasscca.org just dont know if they have it up yet.

Putting my block off plate on tommorow and changing trans/diff gear oil and right axle bearing. Only 2 weeks to get her ready for the next event

And deff plan on making the meet, sounds like it should be fun
Ill have some extra cash on me to if you wanna get rid of one of those 12a headers you have

Just thought id throw up a link to the sound logs and results. Looks like the loudest he got AJ at was 93, and me at either 85-89 hard to tell.
