my birthday present

I turn 23 on the 12th, and my parents had my birthday present sent straight to me at college, attached is a picture of the remnants of the old door seals. The 1aauto.com door seals fit excellent.

So the 1aauto seals actually seal on your car? I tried them on both my FB's and they leaked like a screen door..... Did you just install them and that was it? Or did you have to make any adjustments to the door? I'm still trying to get them to work on my 83 S thats why I ask.
Oh and early happy birthday to you

negative, I have classes in the UP . I'll be downstate the 28th for my cousins wedding and to either pick up or install my other rear end (depending on whether it grenades between now and then).

The 1aauto.com seals worked great in the storm we had up here last night. Did you install them backwards? They are supposed to be curved toward the door, not away from the door. Check out the pictures.

Sorry to hear about the FB being down, the seals do look good though do they have clips like the originals or did you have to glue them to the door? (I'm thinking of ordering the same seals).

Happy birthday btw

The ones I ordered had the clips, but also required glue in some parts (still got to do that one of these days)...

Sorry to hear about the rear end, and yea I angled them towards the car like the directions said... I'll double check everything tonight, its ashame they aren't sealing cause they were easy as hell to install. And yes a little glue is needed along the top to keep it all in place, the bottom has clips.

I've just ordered them so hopefully they'll be here by next weekend (the 25 year old weatherstip finally disintegrated)

they have clips, and i recieved the 3m weatherstripping glue along with them. It's good stuff, just a bitch to get off of anything that you don't want it on (like your fingers)
