My 84 GS finally cruising
the fuel pump is gonna get moved later on that is just a temporary one for now an upgrade is on the way when i get paid
the holley is jetted for a street port i believe, it has 49's in it now and it sputters a little bit and runs rich, but wot it has a really nice pull throughout the rpm range
overall i am really happy with this car, i paid 1000 for it and 100 for the rb parts( holley intake and full sp exhaust system) out of the junkyard, so for 1300 total price i absolutely couldnt ask for more
i am definitely a rotor head from here on out, i love the uniqueness of rx7's, plus everyone on the forum is really cool and there is alot of knowledge to be had on here like thanks to the archive i am running 2g coil, 2g fuseblock, and soon a 2g water pump and housing and alternator

If you already have the engine your set, just upgrade the fuel system and get a megasquirt and toss it in. I tossed around the idea of doing a blow thru on my 4-port 13B, but after actually thinking of all the little things I would need, I've decided to keep it NA and just bridge the secondary ports eventually, put a balanced/lightened set of high compression rotors in, light weight flywheel and redo the exhaust.. if mine sells. Still going to be expensive, but I'll do the engine myself this time. Lots of info about blow thru's and TII swaps kicking around so do a bit of searching and you will find every bit of info you'll need.

i bought it from an old guy here in town that said he was the second owner, he drove it and the original engine blew on the highway on the way to california so while in california he had a shop put in a low mileage replacement engine and drove it all the way back to here in wyo and let it sit for 4 yrs... then i got my grimy little fingers on it and tore in
the odometer has 156,000 on it, idk the mileage of the replacement engine but oil pressure is good and it cold starts like a champ so i am sure it will be fine for a while, thank the rotor gods

it was well taken care of, it looks like it was garaged for most of its life and the guy had a car cover on it, i didnt know it was a 7 until i knocked on the door and asked what it was

Haha I had mine at a car wash like that also. Brought it through, washed the outside, then made the mistake of opening the hood and washing the engine bay. 5 minutes later, it finally started after continuous cranking. Carbs no like water.
