Most simple engine bay
I have an fc, and the engine bay has way too many tubes and wires floating around in there. If something breaks I have to sit down with a book for like 100 years to figure out what it is and what 9 wires to check...
I am working on getting a 1st gen right now (s4 na swapping and oer side draft), and I was wondering how simple I could make the engine bay while still having the car be reliable! (cold starts etc)
Please post pics of your super simple/ clean engine bays!
Thanks

I did a partial wiring tuck on my car. Since I have a standalone (microtech) I have basic wiring only anyways. So I ran all of the intake manifold wiring through one of the heater core (removed) holes in the firewall. I have a couple of wires for gauges going under the brake booster to the left side of the engine. Then I relocated the ignition coils under the cowelling.

Rip it all out and use an electric motor, like my electric fb. Ha ha. Cold starts are great.
but seriously, there are some really nice rotary FBs and SAs here with simple engine bays. I'm looking forward to the posts that will pop up here. My rotary FB will be the same when I'm done. Nice and simple.

In the silver and my rx7s bays you can easily see the fuel lines heres another pic of that clean purple s3 bay from the other side they're just run close to the block, I would of done it differently, just along the firewall then out to the carb or something

Pulleys make more noise the higher you rev obviously, but if your motor's idling at say 1800 then its gonna be making noise, especially with the pulsing.
