On the break in dyno running fat with a restrictive(quiet)exhaust we got over 210hp. The engine builder extimates we can up to 250hp out of it.
I was hopeing for 225hp at the start of the project and that was allready met.

Its a rebuilt stock port 84/85 6port that is built close to the limits of Street Prepared rules for auto x.

The cars first event should be june 1st.

Very nice. Where'd you get the oil filler tube? That's a lot of power coming out of a naturally aspirated motor! Glad you're not racing in my region. lol.

the oilfiller tube is just a stock replated one.

Not sure how much I spent for everything and not sure I want to know.
Id guess theres 7-10,000 bucks in the engine, intake, exhaust and computer

You could build a more powerfull engine for about the same price as this one.
I was simply restricted by rules as to what I was allowed to do.

Ill snap some more photos tomarrow.

does my odometer say 0? I dont know what your talking about!

I dont remeber, it wasnt hard, just take the cluster out and itll be simple to do.

Hey guy! I may be able to use your expert abilities soon with making a new exhaust. Im starting out with the RB system for now but I want to do the RB header, collect after the header than use a megaphone transition to a 3 inch exhaust.

Im not sure what lengths would be optimal,

Hp is at its peak from 6700 rpms to 8000 rpms the power is pretty flat and doesnt drop off, its still building at 8k.
the torque peaks at 4700rpms and stays flat till 7000 rpms where it starts to fall off.

Id like to move the hp peak down.
