I'm pretty sure that '85 is rear wheel drive, if it's like the one in the Acropolis Rally.

 

Yeah I just checked the movies on youtube and noticed it was rear wheel drive. Though I'm 200% sure they made a 4x4 in those days as well..

 

I bet you're thinking of Rod Millen's SCCA ProRally RX-7



If anyone else is interested, I found the rally results. Great mix of cars, the 7 didn't do that great overall, but good in its class.

 

That skid plate is really bitchen!

 

What is the thing that's getting cooled in the rear spoiler?

the 'thing' in the back is an oil cooler.. possibly for the rear diff?
