Mazda Europe FB rally car back in action
 

Hy, I'm Neal and I'm living in Belgium. I'm an FD owner but a friend of mine visited a local rally event for old timers last weekend and took these pictures (sorry the text is in french)


It's the FB 4x4 rally car Mazda Europe built back in the days.

Awesome! Good to see them still being run.

I'm pretty sure that '85 is rear wheel drive, if it's like the one in the Acropolis Rally.

Yeah I just checked the movies on youtube and noticed it was rear wheel drive. Though I'm 200% sure they made a 4x4 in those days as well..

If anyone else is interested, I found the rally results. Great mix of cars, the 7 didn't do that great overall, but good in its class.

That skid plate is really bitchen!

What is the thing that's getting cooled in the rear spoiler?

the 'thing' in the back is an oil cooler.. possibly for the rear diff?
