Limited in Sheep's clothing
Not sure if anyone round here is a part of this bidding, but this white 79 is actually a Limited. Wheels, gauge cluster and grey engine bay are dead give aways. The VIN also falls within the range. Looks like remnents of original seat fabric too. Buying vehicles from people who can't spell simple words always makes me think twice.

Your spelling is "zactly" right for your neck of the woods. That, I can understand.
So, ole 33 is going to stay silver, Id assume? Some may feel that a new finish might degrade the value of this old gal, but I think its cool and am excited to know that she will get her sparkle back once again.
That craigslist car may be one of kind, but not a LE. Looks like an early build 78 car with a bodykit.

As far as I'm concerned, I agree. You'll lose nothing since its already been painted. Dressing her up again is the right thing to do. Not sure about the orange peel though. I like my Silver mercury smooth. Maybe I'll see you at R/A. I'd like to go, and it's marked on my calander. Not sure what car to take.

Banzai... I know i am doing a little thread jacking.... I would love to have left her 100% original but she has been painted once before and the clear is shedding off the roof and hood, the drivers door has a small crease under the body line and the one piece metal front dam has rock damage. A very good company is doing it with very strict instructions this is not a full resto it is a cosmetic fix and reshoot however the color has to be spot on with the correct orange peel and the right rock guard on the bottom all lights, plastic, rubber and trim are being removed prior to paint. She will be sparklely and bright for her comming out party at the Mitty. I will not be trailering her to that event she will be driven in and she will also be at 7-stock this year as well. After this year we will be only trailering her to events, next year her driving duties will be assumed by #88
