Kudos for Sam & Re-Speed

I ordered some new sway-bar end links from Re-Speed mid-morning on Monday, 8/1.

They were waiting for me in the mail when I got home last night, Tuesday, 8/2.

In the meantime, Sam also fixed a shipping cost issue in my favor.

Amazing!

I figured he has some huge, Molson-fuelled cannon there at the shop, and just delivers them sub-orbitally.

+ 1 for Sam and Re-Speed. He answered my questions on the big brake kit and called me back on a Sunday to complete my order when my computer wouldnt let me place it. Certainly seems to be customer oriented and keeping with Billy's helpful nature.

Two Thumbs up!

+1. Whenever I have a question it gets answered right away. Just today I had a question about a couple orders and had a reply with in a couple hours.

Respeed has always set the standard in customer service. Glad to see that Sam is keeping up with those high expectations.

I had a problem with the hex standoffs on my intake manifold heat shield. Turns out there was a problem with the tap Sam used. He made some new ones right away, and they are on there way to my door right now.

Respeed gets a big thumbs up from me for customer service.

I been installing my respeed stuff today making room for the LS1. I was wondering if you want those measurements still sam? I was slated to shove the motor in tomorrow but delays from broken parts is slowing me down. the respeed parts look amazing in the car though,

Sorry to bump an old thread, but has anyone spoken to Sam recently??

I've been trying to contact him regarding an order for the past two weeks with no luck. He hasn't logged on here for a while either, so i hope he is OK???

If any one does speak to him could you please ask him to contact me?

That explains why my sway bar order was pending from 12/27 to 1/24 lol. Good thing its winter so I'm in no rush to get it. I know it will be worth the wait.

I bought one of the heat shields for the stock 12A intake manifold and it doesn't fit. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm kind of at the point where I think I'm just going to throw it in the trash and make my own. At least I could guarantee that it would fit.

First, the holes in the hex standoffs were drilled/tapped off center, so Sam shipped me two new hex standoffs. Now the heat shield doesn't fit over the new hex standoffs. Either the standoffs are too long, or the bends in the sheet metal for the heat shield weren't broken in the correct places. Either way, it won't mount up properly.

Has anyone else purchased one of these and successfully installed it? I bought one from Billy about 2.5-3 years ago and it was great.

It sounds to me like he is really slammed and taking too much on by himself, thus quality is suffering and he is not responsive.

While every single customer of a small business has the right to expect their order to be #1 , I also wonder how many emails , pm's he has to actually address for "updates" that , as anyone with a business and email knows , can literally suck up days of productivity or quality control time. I have no idea if this is a factor ......... just saying .

Have faith guys. The transition is going a little roughly at the moment, but he's got a lot of great ideas that will benefit all of us in the long run.

If Sam wants, I can send him my modified R&P rack to fit V8 applications. I got another month before I re-install it
