junkyard score

Found 2 rx7 wagons at pick n pull today. I scored a 13b intake (nikki was gone) for 20 bucks! Good find for the next time a get a 13b offered for nothing and a song on a dead 12a rx7 to put it in.

Last year I could have had a 13b runner for free, it was an fc accident victim. If I could have heard it running I would have pulled it but didn't want to gamble. Later I had a buddy unload a clean rust free fb for $700 with a burn out 12a as he was going through a divorce. Now I have the 13b intake, and exhaust manifold so if I get the same opportunity I will snag the 13b and watch for a steal on a fb again. Then I can do the transplant and retain the nikki with the factory 12a air cleaner. Anyone driving it would think it was one of the fastest stock 12a 7's until they spot the 13b on the housings. (hell, the rx4's 13b would clear that issue up, they only say "mazda" on them).
