Welcome. Your car looks very clean and what an awesome deal especially with that mileage. Hopefully someone from NY/NJ can point you in the right direction.

Did you install the alarm or have it installed?

Nice looking ride.

Interesting wheels for a New York car! They are Simmons OM which are an Australian brand. They are 3 piece custom wheels (you can specify your own offset and width) that used to be manufactured locally, although the brand was sold and they have been made in Asia for at least 10 years now. The owner must have imported them from Australia at some point.

A closer look at that pic, after the wheel comment from KYPREO shows RHD model. Maybe op can shed some light on the cars' history, could be interesting.

So it is! Good spotting!

In fact, I'm 99% certain it is an Australian delivered series 2 Super Deluxe, not a GSL, Note the lack of indicators or markers on the side body mouldings on the front guards and rear quarters. Australian delivered series 2 didn't have these. Chassis number between SA22C-650001 to 699999 will confirm this. As will the presence of headlight washers in the front bumper.

Last edited by KYPREO; Jul 18, 2018 at 10:57 PM. Reason: added "series 2" as Australian series 3 did have amber side marker lamps on the front guards

I looked at the car, admiring how clean it is,but couldn't put my finger on what was different. Of course,no amber/red side marker lamps.
Looks like it might have the sleepy eye look mod to headlight mechanism.
