SK I've been ruined!

I've owned four 1st Gens over the years, an '82, two '79s and an '81.

All had 12As.

All were carbureted, either with the stock Nikki or the RE dual 32/36 DCDs.

I was happy. I was content. I loved my RX-7s.

But then, I had to go out and buy a SE on Tuesday.

Hoooleee-sheet.

It starts without a ****. It warms up on its own. And the torque.... oh the torque.....

I mean, yeah, the radio doesn't work, the steering has 2-3 inches of play, some (hopefully) minor rust to deal with and the glass sunroof is actually plastic (seriously, it bends) but it's quick, it's quiet and it rides like a dream.

The interior is nice too.

Now how the heck am I supposed to go back to a 12A? HOW?

The answer, the only answer I can give you at this point is... "hogged out Nikki". It will walk all over that 30 year old EFI and usually doesn't need a ****. Heck I installed a **** in my GSL-SE but I don't use it.

That's with the current 13B. Putting my money where my mouth is, I'm gonna be doing a nice 12A that will embarrass any stock* GSL-SE. Oops, did I let that slip? Oh well cat's outta the bag now. Can't put it back in.

*stock to modified, not much difference really, compared to what I have planned. Tee Hee.

Enjoy your... torque!
