Hi guys,
I'm in the middle of reupholstering the interior of my 79 SA and I came across a photo a couple of weeks ago where someone had put speaker pods in an SA and it was a very clean install. And since then I've tried and tried to find them. If I remember correctly it was brown interior and it was also an SA. If anyone could please direct me to where to find this, that'd be great. I've done searches through the forums but I don't think it was originally posted under anything to do with speakers. Please help.

 

Dont know if they were under some posts I made WAY back or not. But I had an 80 with two 5 1/4's in each door and a 5 1/4 in the stock location. Also had tweeters in the air vent.

 

Did you happen to have them upholstered and a tweeter in them? I'd love to get some pics either way since I'm almost ready to redo the doors. Thanks.

Not sure if that was it or not because I didn't see a pic. I've been looking for this pic for a month now. Wish I'd bookmarked it or saved it then. I may end up going with 4 inch speakers in stock locations though. But I'd at least like the option to reproduce the ones I saw. They were very sharp looking and didn't clash with the style of the rest of the interior. I actually just had a friend of mine embroider (with a high quality machine) the RX7 logo into some vinyl that I'm wrapping the doors with. She did it in the same color as the exterior (Mazda racing orange). I'll have some pics posted soon.
