I am currently sourcing a rear interior from the seats back. I was told that the interior or all fb's we're the same in the rear. Looking for info on what was interchangeable so that I can begin my restoration without buying the wrong parts and wasting time and money. The previous owner had installed an lrb delete kit and none of the rear parts were included in the purchase. Sorry if there is a thread about this already. I have been unlucky in finding info so far.

I believe the rear speaker/fender panels are all the same, however the trim section around the hatch latch varies a tad. Fairly certain that all years will fit up, but some have a trunk light built into them right next to the latch. One exception is for window pillar trim parts pre-83 (I think) which used exposed screw fasteners, while from 83 on clips were used instead. I know that's at least true for the A-pillar trim. The storage bin panels should also all be the same, although the bins themselves change in appearance slightly throughout the years.

TL;DR, as far as I know all years of rear trim parts will bolt up, however they varied slightly in cosmetic appearance and fastening technique.

Hopefully that helps a little. Sorry about the uncertainties, I haven't looked into interior parts for a while either.

Thank you for the input. That helps a lot. I have found a 79 with a full interior that they tore out
