GSLSE Interior colors

Does anyone know all of the interior colors that were available for the gslse. I used to have a gray one that had a burgandy interior. They had some funky looking colors. I am looking for another se but don't really want a burgandy interior.

What Exterior colors had which interior colors? Did any of them have black grey or blue interior?

I've only seen grey, brown and burgandy interiors. I've only seen the brown interior on beige SE's. It seems like the grey and burgandy interiors were offered on the rest of the ext colors. IMO the gry is the best looking one.

Yeah, I mean, what color would I paint the car with a burgandy interior. So anyone know what color car the gray interiors come in? Probably the white, and blue at least?

My blue parts car has the gray interior, my white car (actually beige) has the brown interior, which I've grown to like.

There are at least 2 flavors of grey. I have two 85's with two different grey cloth shades and patterns. The dash and plastic trim is the same color grey but the seats and door panels are either a light or a dark color cloth. One is RH sunrise red with lighter bluish grey cloth and the other is 3A red with darker grey cloth. What's up with that?

Grey and burgundy were available on all colors. I had a beige w/ brown leather too, so I don't know if brown was available in anything else.

Wow, thanks for all the info, The burgandy interior on my old grey se didn't really bother me but now that car is gone and I am in the market for another, I may try to find one with the grey interior. If I can't I will just go with whatever comes along. What makes it hard is the dash is the same color as the interior so to do a swap, you would basically have to swap the dash also, lots of work.

If you want leather, it only came in burgandy and brown. Tender Blue SE's also got the brown interior.

That particular color combination sucked.

I don't care if it has leather or not, the seats will be replaced with racing seats. Probably black seats

I can visualize Blue with Brown interior, and it does look pretty bad....

I have brown myself, but as the car is beige, it's not so bad.

What do you mean biege? There was a tan interior but that got dropped along with black for the Mark III series in 84. So it was only grey, brown, and burgandy

Not that I recall seeing any leather except brown or burgundy. Definitely no tan/beige at all in series 3.

I've never seen a tender blue SE with a brown int, always grey. I don't think I want to see a tender blue with brown

I've never seen a Tender Blue with brown interior. I just sold a Tender Blue -SE with a grey cloth interior.

Everbody does know that the S and GS interiors have a spotted type cloth whereas the GSL and -SE's had a striped type cloth (unless leather of course).

Thanks for confirming that. I kind of suspected that was the case but never really thought about it. The striped grey is darker and the spotted is lighter, more blue looking.

My 85 Se I bought new was the charcoal metallic exterior w/Burgundy cloth interior. I then had the cream with brown leather (back in '89) now I have a Tender blue SE with Burgundy Leather and a white 84 SE with burgundy cloth. The white car is gonna have a gray cloth interior transplant in the spring. My 84 GSL is the dark brown exterior with dark brown leather.

I have seen the red cars mainly with grey interiors, white cars with either brown, or burgundy, blue usually came with the gray, The brown and cream cars typically came with brown (either cloth or leather). Leather was only available in Burgundy and Brown for '84 & '85. Leather also usually came in conjunction with the Power Steering option for some reason. But you won't find Power Steering listed as an available option in the dealer literature though. Interesting...

A Tender Blue with burgandy interior?

That sounds kind of weird, is it stock, or replaced with stock/dyed?

How'd you get so many? Gotta catch 'em all?

Midwest, eh? How come I've never seen you? LOL

Post some pics of this fine sounding collection!
