Idler Arm Bushing
Trying to replace my idler arm bushings.
I can't get the lock nut off (cotter has been pulled).
Tried manually. Tried 18v impact wrench. Hit it a couple times over a few days with PB. No luck.
Any one got any ideas?

And also...it would help if you take out the cotter pin first🤦

go to a hole in the wall pro garage and say $20 says you can't get this off towards the end of the day. the underpaid over worked mechanic can pocket it tax free, and without the owner taking his cut.
or before lunch time buy a large pizza and say, I'll give you this pizza if you can get this off.
or buy a breaker bar, and extender from home depot, remove it in the parking lot, then return the tools for the refund
or maybe pepboys or others will let you borrow the tools for a deposit.
or go to Scott Kilmer's live Youtube sessions, and ask him
or if you have a hot girlfriend, sister, wife, niece have them ask a pro mechanic.........
a pro mechanic offered his 18 v impact wrench when I was removing the tires in his parking lot. I don't like pro mechanics and their brutal impact wrenches stripping out the threads of ~40 year old steel. It didn't do ****.

I've been looking for one since April but the Moog K9369 is no longer in production. Even sites that claim to have them send a backorder/NLA cancellation once they get in touch with Moog.
I'd love to be wrong and find out there's a pile of them somewhere...put me on the list!
