i need to know the abb. for fb,fc and fd
i know F.B. stand's for a 1st gen but im not sure what the F and the B stand for or the others such as F.C. and F.D can anyone inform me, I have allways just called them 1st ,2nd and 3rd gen's tell i came to this site and noticed peeps calling them these name's

There is no real definition for the SA,FB, FC, ect.
It is a sort of nickname for the generations of cars by using a reoccurring pattern in the VIN Number. SA being 79-80, FB being 81-85, FC being 86-92, FD being 93-02.
Same as them being calling them S1,S2, S3, ect they are series denominators that can be better explain in the FAQ section of the technical thread for FBs.
