Better to beat the horse than have it zombify and attack you from behind!

I say it is what is. I love the rotary but Im in process of putting a 383 in my SA22. Do I give a **** what anyone has to say about the swap? **** No! My car, my money. And to think of a car a your child is pretty stupid. A car is just metal I'd pick my son over my 1st gens anyday.

No one said they would choose the car OVER their children. Some people feel like their cars are part of the family. You go through a lot with a car, good and bad, but a true enthusiast loves it regardless. Sounds kind of like a child doesn't it. They can be hellish and push your patience to the edge, but you don't stop loving them.

That being said, I understand the LSX swap. It makes good power, is reliable, cheap and very driveable. After popping a few rotaries trying to match the power of an LSX it makes sense to consider something else. Not everyone has deep pockets. No it's not unique or special, but then again, what's the real difference between my FB and someone else's aside from personal touches? If it's not your car, it's not your place to say what someone can and cannot or should and should not do with it. You wouldn't let someone else tell you what to do with your car.
