How many SA project cars out there?

I hear a tonne about FB widebody projects but not so many SA's.
Who has used an SA for there project car and why did you choose it?
For the widebody I understand the bumpers are better but is that it?

I think it would be awesome to have a really nice SA widebody but I'm
thinking it would be a bit more work than an FB.

pics of your personal SA widebody would be awsome to.

SA's look perfect they way they are. you should leave the wide bodys up to the FB's ha. plus there are a whole lot more FB's out there than SA's

I am putting the finishing touches on my REPU right now, so I will be working on the SA starting in February I am anticipating.

The 79 will be going back original Spark Yellow. I am in the parts accumulation process for it now which I have been doing for awhile.

Complete 13b REW
16" SSR Reverse Forumla Mesh wheels
GSL Rear End
Black Interior Conversion
Ground Control Coilovers
Tokiko 5ways
Front & Rear Sway Bars
Ground Control Camber Plates
IMSA 3 peice spoiler
Replacement Wire harness (current one fried)

There is other stuff here and there, but I think the next purchase is the RE-Speed Rack and Pinion Conversion.

Regardless, a very long way to go. Maybe 7stock 12?

I am building a 79 its nothing special. 13B 4-port street-ported,Holley carb, Holley FP, GSL rear end. Iam putting it in the booth soon. Debating on Infinity burn-orange or Ferrari Red. Either way should look nice. Iam also planning on a cf hood and cf flares. Now only if I can work out these ******* electrical problems

my 79 is definately a work in progress. it hasn't been registered in 10 years and the last few owners must have been kids that didn't know anything about cars and just wanted something to take apart. almost every nut or bolt on this car is loose it seems. the wiring harness was hacked up, completely gutted interior (dash & guages included), but the body is 98% rust and dent free. one 1/4" hole in the front fenderwell, and another the same size in the back corner of the hatch. i hope to get the engine bay cleaned up and painted so i can get the body ready to paint by spring. then its just a waiting game for money to finish everything else.

i've never seen an sa on the road before, and i only see 1 or 2 fb's a year even though i work down the street from rotory performance.

I've got an 80 that was beautiful Marine blue, and someone preferred turd brown. I like the way it looks and feels. I bent the side of the driver fender when I was removing the A/C. So when I went to open the door it went smush; which pissed me off to no avail and I have smushed it enough to open the door, now I need a fender. I didn't realize they were fairly rare to find though. The interior was converted to black so that was nice of them.

I plan on painting it back to Marine blue, and getting this poor thing on the road.
