Look for Pull A Part in Montgomery, AL there are no pix there, it just lists that there is a 1980 RX-7 on the lot.

Something like that...couldn't pass that up! It's only 2 hours or so from where my brother lives. Maybe one tank of gas.

I would, but I'm meeting Mike halfway to pick them up. He's already purchased all 5 wheels and lugs for me! Yeah! (btw...the spare isn't gold) I'll drop him an email and see if he plans to go back again...I started to ask him to get them for me as souveniers...LOL How funny!
I'll have him get in touch with you or I'll let you know...

thanks kymber! as a note, on the LS, the factory spare wheel is a gold wheel just like the others.

Hey! Mike told me when he goes back he'll check on them for you. He says they are pretty cracked up. I know you said you were gonna refinish them. Is that gonna be a problem?
btw...it really sux about the spare not being gold. I told Mike it was supposed to be, but it wasn't and he couldn't find a gold spare.

my LS has been sitting as well, needing to be driven. i need to get some warm weather so i can replace the rotten muffler with a nice RB one. right now here in OH, we have snow covering the gound and weather in the 30's during the day and in the 20's or less at night.... not good weather conditions for the 7's....

LS emblems

mazdaverx713b,

Kymber said you were looking for these (I'm the one that picked up the gold wheels for her). The chrome is "bubbled" and flaky, but not broken.

Look at the picture and PM me with your mailing address if you want them.

not that i'm aware of. i have a few articles regarding the LS in a couple of RX-7 books that i have. if there's any info you would like, please ask. i've studied the Leather Sport for some time and as a LS owner, i'm pretty well versed in the LS.

well I am not a new LS owner but I haven't posted to this thread previously

I have 2 in gold, I personally scrapped 1 in black and (all 3 are listed in the 1st Gen registry) I have also seen taken parts from 5 more that have been scrapped in junk yards 2 were black and the other 3 were gold.

I know you posted the numbers of each color where did you find that information as I have never seen it.

someone else asked about the sales lit I don't have that but I do have the service bulletins that have all the LS Specific part numbers

DAVE
