1984 GS Tornado Gray/Maroon - 77,xxxmi museum clean car when I bought it. TII swapped, in my signature
1982 GS Blue/Black - 215,xxxmi that was just used for parts and scrapped
1983 GS Silver/Black - 115,xxxmi that I drove for a few months during the winter and traded for 3 snowmobiles and a trailer

I'm not even close to done yet either. Looking to get a Dave Kent, IMSA, CP Racing or Mariah Mode 1 widebody someday as well as my old 84 GS TII swapped car back for the sentimental value.

Funny that you said. When my son was born in 89, my toys were 2 REPU, 2 RX-4 (74 & 76) and a SA with backseat as well an AE86 and GTI. He was exposed to RX since day one and his first car was an 85 gsl with 13-B streetport and 48 weber...the bad thing was too many speeding tickets. well he is 24 now and i gave him a RX-3 for passing the nursing board a little over 2 years ago

Ive had a 85 in college, 83 as a parts car, 81 that I bought as a roller, got running and driving and traded for a Miata, an 85 auto I bought for my wife 3 years ago, and my 79 that is about a week away from running provided the motor I put together is done right!

I've owned four 1st gen and one 2nd gen....

84 S white
87 Sport tender blue
85 GSL-SE tender blue
83 GSL automatic light red
85 GSL-SE light red

Favorite one is the 85 SE tender blue...Was so clean and great shape...Sold it in 2010 to a guy in Palm Springs and he sold it three years ago and now in Norway
Second favorite is current 85 SE..Newly rebuilt engine and getting it sorted out...Previous owners moved battery to behind passenger bin and pulled all a/c...Bought it in NorCal on Superbowl Sunday and trailered it home this year.....

So far.... 2 SAs. A 79 I got for $100 when I turned 16 got put in storage for way to long. And I just bought an 80 that has a pretty bad oil leak but I think I have it nailed down as to the cause. Now to find out if it's a quick fix or a rebuild from a moron not tightening the bolts right on the layers of my new beer keg.

Learned to drive stick in my Dad's 81 S. Since then:
85 GSL-SE - still own it, turbo motor, Mariah Mode 1 kit, Wolf EMS
78 GT - RHD imported to US in 1981, lived in OR until I bought it 5 years ago. All stock, with crappy re-spray.
80 GS - Kent style wide body RB '7' Tribute car with bridge port 13B and Holley Sniper EFI
84 GSL-SE - fully stock, good daily but traded it for the '78 RHD
Parts cars I can remember - 80 Aurora White, 84 GS Silver, 80 Gold GS, 84 GSL-SE, 81 GS widebody,
Non - first gens, '71 RX-2 project car, 13B-RE Cosmo, 20B Cosmo
