well i was looking and i don't like the cost of the carbon fiber hoods that people are making for the fb
and im just asking because these are two ideas a guy at work had

would either an FC hood or one of the S13 240sx hoods fit on an SA or FB?

 

Depends on what you call "fit," I guess.

I can't imagine that they are even close to the same dimensions... and since the SA/FB hinges at the front, and the others at the rear...

 

Yea idk its a custom shop where we fabricate alot of stuff so they were thinking of random things to try instead of wasting alot of money on a cf first gen hood

i thought the length would be a big problem idk

 

Maybe if you found one that was larger in all dimensions, but with about the right curve, you could cut it down to fit, and make it a lift-off mounted on pins.

Would probably be less work to fabricate one from scratch.

Completely different chasis. The FC is a couple inches wider than the SA/FB. To boot the s13 is an inch or so wider than the FC. The headlight dimensions are completely different. The hinges are in the front of the SA/FB and in the rear on the FC and s13...

It will not work. Sorry.
