here's what ive been playing with lately

my 58 Tr-3.... its been living under boxes and stuff for a few years. we moved, and in the process of letting dad borrow it, we've been going thru the car. couple of new ball joints, valve adjustment, resynched (resunk?) the carbs, put the front bumper back on, oil change (1st one this century!).

i think all we've got left is to bleed the brakes and pay the registration...

i bought it in 2001, someone traded it in for a miata. we came in monday and it was just sitting there....

i drove it until from then to 2004, we did a few car shows and stuff (its a nice driver).

then i decided to rebuild the front suspension, and the carbs, and um i finished, but it just got stuck in the garage

looks like a really nice car and looks like it would get a lot of attention when driven!

oh yeah! its kind of nuts

car is actually pretty fun to drive too, its 100hp/2200lbs so its not slow, and its got a similar connected to the driver feeling as the FB.

it also sounds awesome when you crack the throttle, when we dug it up and drove it around, you can't help but smile

newly registered, and i've so far daily driven it this week.

BTW if you think the 1st gen is a pita, you should try a piston engine with 2 carbs.

Very nice! I had a 240Z with dual webers on it, and it was always a pain trying to keep them in synch.

So, how long until the TII swap?
