Headlight motors between sa and fb
Are the headlight motors compatible between sa and fb? I'm going to need a new headlight motor for my passenger side light and thought that it'd be smart to check. I know they are different, but are they not even compatible at all?
should bolt right in. Even the linkage arms are the same. Worst case the wire connections are different, but use yours off the old motor.
Nice Sparky/keyhole'd SA you have there!

I seriously do hope I can find another set being sold, but I'm perpetually at a state where I've already blown all of my money on other car stuff

Yeah, I'm the kind of guy who needs to visually see something to get it, sorry if the answer is obvious.

Basically, you splice the old connectors onto the new motors, using the pin-out info from the old and new wiring diagrams (which can be had from foxed.ca). Solder and tape would be the most secure way.
Sorry I don't have the details at hand - - was several years a go I messed with these.

But thanks, I'll try that once I get my hands on a motor!
