My '85 GSL-SE

Not restored. For the most part not really needed. Yet. Although in truth needs everything, depending on how you look at things

Thanks, Red. 93K. Original paint - still reflects a nice sunset

After 26 years I'm in the middle of my first DIY oil change. My 7 is starting a new era. Me too

Already did an engine tune. Worked out well although I'm very unhappy with the NGK wires- too short and the leading coil wire just doesn't fit the cap well at all.

I should shoot some images of the engine bay while I'm at it... but that won't look as nice as the exterior although probably not bad as these things go for something that hasn't been fussed over too much. Garaged from day 1.

1985 gsl-se (my baby) 115k Daily driver at 120 miles a day Most reliable thing I've ever owned (yeah i know weird huh) Racing beat full exhaust turbo II ignition And the stereo from hell I wouldn't trade it for anything (except a good rust free rx3 that is)

I've got a 85 se. I've owned it for 3 years and I am the 3rd owner. Runs and drives great. The only thing not working is the a/c. Almost fully restored and painted 2 years ago. Ran autocross this year and it did great. A few more upgrades and ill be crushing miata's. Ill post pics soon..

[QUOTE]/Users/carlitosperez/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Previews/2011/05/30/20110530-201843/IMAG0032.jpg/QUOTE]

Here's my "84" GSLSE...I bought it from a friend of mines about a week ago. I drove the car from Virginia to Florida in about 12 hours. Everything works nicely, there are a few minor things that need to be done, along with a paint job. The car is currently at a local rotary shop getting a Tll motor swap installed w/ a Mirotech 10LT.
