CO Fuel system

Hello all I have a 78-79 Mazda rx7. I've done a bit of work. I'm back at working on the fuel system agian. I've upgraded the lines from tank to motor to 3/8 and was wondering and brand of mallory fuel pump to buy. I do have a fuel regulator for the set up by mallory. I'm wanting to keep the stock set up from the nikki carb to switching it out with an perfomance intake set up.

i like this one, Mallory/MSD 4070M Fuel Pump for RX7 1975-1985 - Racing Beat

it actually has a pressure regulator built into it, although i don't think you will be able to get it down to what the Nikki wants. the nikki wants like 2.25-2.75 psi and the pump will do about 4.5psi...

i've done a bunch of testing with the fuel system, and i like the stock pump. if you give it 12V (a relay might be in order), and have a clean filter, it flows plenty. no regulator needed. the Holley regulator kills flow, and does strange things to pressure too

Sounds good but I did some digging on my fuel regulator and I need an 8-an size from tank and fuel pump. So this means time for another fuel upgrade. Unless u think it will be ok to do a conversion from an-8 1/4 to an-6 3/8
the regulator I have is the mallory 4307m #29388 3 out ports.

I only want the nikki set up for emissions if I need it other wise imma make this a build drift drag car. So imma be throwing tons of boost into the car as well as money. I did ad the 85 lsd non slip rear dif in and put the 85 stock block in. So it's ok but ganna need newer stuff. I'm planning on swapping motors to a 4 rotor or even a 6. Make a show car for the 6 rotor. Might get a newer 12a also since this one seals r most likely out..

So if I have to use the stock set up I'll use a fuel cell with a stock fuel pump just to pass emotions.
