freeze plug part #

Ok there was 1 tread that had a part # but that # is NLA at any of my local parts stores. I also tried to get them to look for the size and they said they couldnt they needed to know what kinda car to referance it to. The 1 guy that did look I dont think looked to hard.

Thanks and also post where you got your plug from.

I got mine at Autozone for one penny each. Try there. If they tell you they don't have them they are wrong. They just don't know where to look. I called my local Autozone one day and asked if they carried Redline Water Wetter. They told me no. Later that week I was in the store for something else, and lo and behold there it was on the shelf.

Don't let the sales staff tell you what they do and don't carry. The turnover rate is so high at some of the parts places I go to that I probably have more experience in the store than the employees do

Guys you are not understanding every where I call and go to I tell them what i need 20mm freeze plug. Answer most of the time is "for what car". I say 1985 rx7 with a 12A engine. This is just getting me NO where I need a current part # of any kind the one above does not cross referance to a newer part #

Here are all of the applications for that Dorman part #. The Dorman website does not say that they are NLA. Also a lot of newer and popular cars use that size, so I doubt they would be discontinued.
