Finally installed my wheel package on the LS

Today I finally installed my Konig REWINDS. I wrapped them with BF Goodrich G-force T/A KDW NT… I thought I would just show you guys the new wheels on my LS.

The tires seem to be holding up very well (only did about 50 miles). I use to have a small vibration at 85mph but not with these tires.

Congrats on your new wheel set. Your LS appears to be very well preserved. What a beauty! Any interior pics you can share?

i agree 100%. i've always thought the panasport style wheels were great additions to the first gen as well as the old school rotaries. they should have been a factory option.

Sure…I’ll post some interior pics tonight.

It came down to the rewinds or pannas but I like how flashy the rewinds are, the others seems to look dull.

Thanks…I’ll post some engine bay shots later. But it doesn’t look to clean the original owner had it sprayed with a rust inhibitor (looks black).

Looks good. Where did you get them, and for how much if you don't mind me asking. Any more pictures of the actual wheels? it looks as though the stand off the brake d rums quite a bit.

I’ll post some more pics later….my battery in the camera just died and I don’t know where my GF put the charger.

Here is the link for the tires

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...MTAHZH&rf=true

I got them from discount tire for $120 per tire (a little discount) they where $580 installed for just the tires. The actual price is the one in the link. If you can’t talk them down it will run about $750 installed. I bought the rims from JBL motor sports for $450 shipped. The tires are amazing very sticky and very deep tread for performance tires. But they are a Z rated tire so after they sit for around 6 day with out moving they get flat spots, but they go away after about 25 miles (from what I have been told) also they are rated for speed 149+.

Rearviewmirror,
I don’t know how to just host a picture or else I would. When I try I get error messages.

Yep the rad was fixed April 3. I had to take to a garage (didn’t have the time to do it my self)

I really like the rims…openshot you should get a set. You can’t beat a direct swap that looks this good. There light to, the total shipping weight was 55lbs for the rims and packaging material. Just make sure you get a good tire that doesn’t make the car sit higher.

Sgt Fox, & mazdaverx713b
I'll post the engine pics and more tire/wheel pics tonight (camera is charging).

She is very dirty. I just took the pics in between a thunder storm, and sorry for posting such big pics.

As you can tell from the engine the black is the rust proofing. I’m working on cleaning the top of the engine bay (I started working on driver side) and going down about an 1”. Then I’ll leave the rest for added sense of security.
